Sehr sehr seltsam:
The Queens Of The Stone Age Go Disney
According to Josh Homme the new Nick Oliveri and Mark Lanegan-less Queens Of The Stone Age are returning to the studio to record their new album, and have reportedly enlisted the help of the Disneyland Marching Band.
Following Oliveri and Lanegan?s sacking, Queens Of The Stone Age are now made up of frontman Josh Homme, multi-instrumentalist Alain Johannes, guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and drummer Joey Castillo.
According to reports, the new line up will be returning to the studio on May 24 to commence work on the follow up to 2002?s ?Songs For The Deaf?.
However, Homme recently revealed to ABC News Radio in the US that the group will be supplementing their traditional dirty sound with musical input from the Disneyland Marching Band.
The frontman insisted he was 100-percent serious about the marching band’s appearance on the record, he wouldn’t explain how he managed to procure probably the cleanest cut marching band in the world from ‘the happiest place on Earth’ saying simply, “I slept with Goofy.”
